From Calais, we take a short drive into Belgium to visit our brand new destination, the Saint Flora Castle Shop at Veurne. Once the home of King Albert 1st, here you will receive a warm welcome with a free drink for every visitor. The castle shop is a must and offers great bargain prices for tobacco, cigarettes and chocolates and much more besides.

From here, we continue our journey to Dunkirk, a fantastic seaside town offering great shopping, delicious local food and fascinating visitor attractions. Wednesday is Market Day with a bustling array of stalls covering a wide variety of local produce and merchandise. In the town centre, there are over 400 shops selling all your favourite brands along with specialist shops for typically French “goodies”. We round off our day with a visit to the huge Auchan Hypermarket in Dunkirk for those last minute bargain buys. Undiscovered by British visitors, this is a great opportunity to stock up on French food and wine away from the crowds. You’ll find special promotions throughout the year plus a restaurant open daily. You will need Euros but English money will also be accepted in St Flora.
