from “Tobacco Road” in Belgium. From Calais, we take a
short drive into Belgium to visit Adinkerke to buy the lowest priced
cigarettes and tobacco products this side of Europe. Every shop sells
tobacco and here you’ll find special promotions plus cafes &
bars open daily. From here, we return to Calais where we round off
our day with a visit to the huge Auchan Hypermarket in Coquelles.
A paradise for serious shoppers, there are special promotions throughout
the year plus a fabulous selection of French food & wine at prices
to suit everyone. Located nearby is the Sainsbury’s Beer &
Wine Warehouse.
Alternatively,
during the summer months, we can drop you off at Calais Bleriot where
you’ll discover a fine sandy beach ideal for swimming and sunbathing
with restaurants, bars and cafes on the promenade. With the coach
to hand, it’s a simple matter to load up your purchases and
forget about them until you’re back in England. You will need
Euros but English money will be accepted in most of the tobacco warehouses
in Adinkerke.
